For many, Apple's iPad mini 3, lat year, was simply an upgrade of the previous year's compact Apple tablet. It didn't have anything that's spectacular or something that fans are anticipating about. The product also did fail to live up to expectation, profit wise. This year, Apple promised to release a tablet that will somehow fill the gap between the success of the iPhone 6 and iPad Air 2 products, The iPad Mini 4.
Apple dedicated review web site ALPHR, said that the new iPad mini 4 will hit the stands in the autumn, based on two facts. The first indication was Apple's removal of the original iPad mini in their store in June. Second, an image of a bumper case that is allegedly for the iPad mini 4. The bumper casing was the biggest giveaway since manufacturers have been given the dimensions of the about to be released product.
Another online Apple dedicated tech website, MacRumors, released a photo of somewhat like an iPad mini 2 back panel, but what's lacking on the back panel was the iPad Air 2 emblem and a bigger speaker holes alongside a lightning port at the bottom of the device. With these developments and leaked photos, the rumor for the iPad mini 4 is most likely true. The website also said that the iPad mini 4 will be smaller and thinner than the mini 2 and 3, but due to the limited resources, it is hard to speculate at this point.
In the past years, Apple's iPad sales have declined by 33.3% while the numbers for Mac and iPhone bumped by 54 percent and 21.6 percent, respectively. The upcoming slimmer and thinner rumored iPad mini 4 is projected to CPR the critical state of Apple's tablet arena, IBTimes said. Another thing that might have caused the downfall of the once hot Ipad mini was the changes it went through since its official debut in 2012. As a matter of fact, there were no significant changes in it, cosmetically, aside from its size.
As of this time, other than the leaked photos of a back panel and bump casing, no other information is available online or anywhere for Apple's rumored iPad mini 4.
