Aus$1 Million raised for Spondo

By

Spondo Global CEO & Director Chris Adam undertook a series of fundraisers in Melbourne before proceeding to the United States for the first part of a two-month fundraising itinerary. Henry Pinskier, Chairman of the Spondo Board participated in raising the Aus$1 million or US$1.03 million in capital funds.

Last February, the Wall Street Journal reported that Spondo was aiming to raise at least Aus$5 million and just sixty days later, it was able to raise one fifth of the targeted amount. The additional funding will finance the company in continuing its persistent thrust for global growth including opening its Los Angeles, USA office that will happen later this month.

Chris Adams, Spondo Global CEO and Director commented on its successful fundraising, by saying, "I am ecstatic about the results of our initial fundraising push. Our success thus far is a testament to the strength of our business model, the Spondo team, the opportunities presented by an ever-changing media market and the talent and determination of our staff. Hitting the Aus$1 million milestone is a great way to cap what has been an incredibly intense and productive few months and I want to thank everyone who has helped us get this far, staff and investors alike."

The Melbourne, Australia based social broadcasting network, Spondo, offers a syndication medium where retailers can link on any or other website or blog.
