Amy Schumer heartbroken over shooting incident at ‘Trainwreck’ screening; Lebron James was funny, says critics

Comedian Amy Schumer expressed her condolences to the family of the victims in a shooting incident that transpired during a screening of her latest film "Trainwreck" in Louisiana, U.S.A. Meanwhile, Lebron James, who makes a cameo in the romantic comedy film, was hailed as hilarious by critics.

Three people died while seven where injured inside a cinema in Lafayette, Louisiana while the movie "Trainwreck" was showing on Thursday. After having heard of the sad news, Variety reports that Amy Schumer, who stars in the said film along with WWF superstar John Cena, expressed her condolences to the victims' families on Twitter.

The unidentified suspect who was white and older, shot and killed 3 of the moviegoers around 7 in the evening at the Grand 16 Theater before killing himself. Seven others were wounded and hospitalized while three of them are in critical condition.

On a more positive news, NBA star Lebron James was praised by critics for being funny in "Trainwreck". According to CBS Sports, Lebron's role as himself was an important part of the film which made viewers see his funny side. This was Lebron's first acting stint. The Washington Post described Lebron's acting as having the perfect comedic timing from talking about Downtown Abbey to splitting a lunch check. The New Yorker said Lebron stole the show while USA Today said Lebron was a "slam dunk". The Los Angeles Times meanwhile says Lebron has the most major role among other athletes in the movie.

Meanwhile, many viewers were quick to notice a different Tilda Swinton in "Trainwreck". In a report of Metro, the "Narnia" White Witch said Swinton looked gorgeous and has transformed compared to the white-faced ice queen. Her make-up artist says the actress got a tan.

"Trainwreck", starring Amy Schumer, John Cena and Bill Hader is currently showing in the US and will be released in the UK this coming August 28.
