By

Samsung is releasing its new Galaxy Note 5 after the success of Samsung Galaxy Note 4. Samsung had confirmed that Galaxy Note 5 will be released in August. It is also believed that the phone will come with an SD card slot.

Samsung usually releases new phones every September but according to Business Korea, they will be releasing the new Galaxy Note 5 earlier than usual. Samsung Galaxy Note 5 along with Galaxy S6 Edge Plus will unveil on August 13 in New York and will be released on August 21. The decision of the earlier date is due to the competition of the lacklustre response in Galaxy S6 and iPhone 6 is showing great deal in the market right now.

Along with the earlier date of release, Samsung Galaxy Note 5 will also come with new features and specifications. SamMobile stated that the new phone with model number SM-N920P will have its external memory expandable up to 128GB. This is great news for those who love storing movies, music, files, and games which require a big memory.

Moreover, Business Korea said that the new Samsung Galaxy Note 5 will have a 5.7 inch QHD super Amoled display, an Exynos 7422 processor, 4GB of RAM and a 16 megapixel main camera with OIS along with a stylus pen.

Samsung note was introduced in the public in 2011 in the IFA Berlin convention and the manufacturer begun to create new models up to the current. And recently, Samsung announced a launch of a new Galaxy Note 5 after the success release of Galaxy Note 4 in 2014.

KTB investment analyst Jin Sung-hye stated that, "As the smartphone market matures, the period of time that consumer demand for a high-end product lasts looks to have gotten shorter." It suggests how electronic companies are in great competition. And Samsung Note series will surely gain more popularity in the public because of the upcoming new Galaxy Note 5.
