With Pokemon Z fans itching to get their hands on the newest proposed addition to the series, the pressure is on Nintendo to perhaps conduct an explanation, or at least good news. The upcoming anticipated Pokemon Z seems to still be in the works, and Pokemaniacs need to know what it is exactly that could be holding them back.
As the targets are aimed practically at them, Nintendo rendered the fans dismayed as it was not seen on E3 2015 despite the much-awaited supposed release of the game this year. Pokemon Z will be the continuation to the sequel of Pokemon X and Pokemon Y. Nintendo now offers a slight rationalization on the matter as well as some more elaborated news in iDigital Times.
Christian Today contains a quoted statement from Scott Moffitt, Nintendo of America Executive VP for Sales and Marketing "There's no particular reason I'm aware of. One year, for example, people got used to a March or Spring Pokémon time frame and then we moved it to a fall time frame in October. So we did different things with the Pokémon franchise this year,"
The speculation now, is that Pokemon Z is being developed for release next year, as also to give way to the up and coming installment under the Pokemon franchise, entitled "Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon," bound to be released on September for Japan, winter for the United States and Europe on spring. Attack of the Fanboy discusses more about the utter disappointment that fans may have been heart broken over.
One more distinct fact is that Pokemon Z was rumored to revolve around the storyline and focus on Zygarde, a legendary Dragon/Ground Pokemon that was also found in the other titles, Pokemon X and Pokemon Y. This may also explain the "Z" on the title which is also a seemingly obvious representation of the serpentine physique of the creature, which is also in the form of a Z.
Pokemon Z can be one of 2 things-being a talk of the past, or the big thing of the future. Rumors claim that early next year will be the season of the "Z", so keep posted for more updates.
