While fans are impatiently waiting for Starcraft 2: Legacy Of The Void release date anticipated to happen before end of 2015 or in early 2016, popular game developer Blizzard Entertainment has something special in store for its loyal gamers in celebration of the game's 5th anniversary.
Starting July 27, Blizzard Entertainment celebrates this remarkable milestone with fans by giving away a commemorative fifth anniversary portrait, tons of celebratory virtual confetti, and new downloadable wallpapers for treats.
To get a special fifth anniversary portrait, gamers can simply log in to the game's official page until August 3 and play a game and while doing so, they can see virtual confettis appear as they are on multiplayer modes.
"...we've decided to bring truckloads of celebratory virtual confetti to the StarCraft 2 universe for the anniversary. This confetti is only here for a limited time and you can make the most of it by stepping up your economic harassment efforts in all your favorite competitive multiplayer modes," states in the Battle.net website.

Meanwhile, as the arrival of the title's final expansion, StarCraft 2; Legacy of the Void, is fast approaching, fans are in for a treat to an instant access to the special three-mission prologue series, Whispers of Oblivion, and an entry to the ongoing Legacy of the Void beta test.
StarCraft 2: Legacy of the Void will also come in three editions - Standard Edition, Digital Deluxe Edition, and a retail-exclusive Collector's Edition. Details on these editions can be found via this link.
Following the success of the original StarCraft game and its expansion called Brood War on July 27, 2010, Blizzard released StarCraft 2 which sold more than one million units worldwide within a day of its release and 1.5 million units during first 48- hours making it the "fastest-selling strategy game of all time."
StarCraft 2: Legacy of the Void is developed for Windows PC and Mac OS X and expected to be released in Winter or, not later than March 2016. It began a beta testing on March 31 that featured a host of new multiplayer but is only offered to a select few gamers.
