Motorola just recently announced its new Moto X Style which sets to be one of top smartphone cameras in the world. The new model 21 megapixel rear-facing camera said beats the iPhone 6 for quality.
According to cultofandroid, the moto X style attained just 3 points less than the Galaxy S6 and S6 edge (which feature exactly the same camera) with an overall rating of 83 out of 100, and is just similar to the Galaxy Note 4.
In an Ubergizmo report, DxOMark's Kevin Carter stated that the exposure, contrast, and color scores of the new Moto X are just equal with the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge and iPhone 6 Plus. In addition, this device stayed competitive in control of Noise and Artifacts, Autofocus, and Texture (detail)." The Moto X Style even received praise from Carter for its accurate white balance, autofocus and video stabilization.
Motorola promised fans that photography will take seriously with this year's handset, and currently the Moto X Style seems to prove that. When it comes to camera, it's not easy to beat out devices like the iPhone 6. However, circulating reports about "Moto X beats iPhone 6" seem to have broken that perspective.
Moreover, a report from Forbes proves that Moto X beat iPhone 6, as it supported the aforementioned statement above that the newest Moto Style excelled at exposure and contrast, and this made the iPhone 6 plus fell behind both the Motorola and Samsung cameras.
As for the Moto X video performance, the Moto X Pure Edition was reportedly arrived out four points ahead of the iPhone 6 Plus and just a single point behind the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge at the top of the chart. This case has happened not because of overall superior quality, but for the reason that Moto X beats iPhone 6 in the competition of image stabilization where the high-end Galaxy S6 Edge and iPhone 6 Plus devices were proved weakest.
For those fans that have been disappointed with the camera on last year's Moto X model, these current Moto X updates will surely make them feel delighted for it can even beat the high-end flagship iPhone 6.
