It looks like the former One Direction member, Zayn Malik is ready to kick off his solo career now that Simon Cowell's got his back. The former One Direction member is now working towards a career as a solo artists and has recently signed contracts under Iggy Azalea's same management - Turn First Artisits.
The ex- boy band member and now a solo artist, made his announcement of the good news by sharing a picture of him on Twitter finally joining RCA. Perrie Edward's beau cannot seem to hide his excitement and shared a flashing smile as he put his signature on the contract document as seen in the snapshot.
Dailymail UK sources say that Malik is very thankful of Simon Cowell for hooking him up in RCA's record deal. Cowell somehow feels that RCA was the best place for Malik and took to Twitter to congratulate Malik. He even added, "I believe that they are the perfect label for @ZaynMalik's solo career and I am sure whatever they release together will be special."It seems that Cowell was the man behind the negotiations for both parties and now what's even more interesting is that Malik and One Direction are on competing labels since his former boy band is signed to Columbia and Syco.
This was prompted by an earlier announcement this week that Malik reportedly signed a contract with Turn First Artists, where he will be managed by Sarah Stennet, who has also managed the career of the rapper- singer, Iggy Azelea.
For months, the online world seems to be getting more puzzled as to why Malik left his boy band, but he has never spoken a word about the reason of leaving his group. So to stop all the speculations, he took his side onTwitter by saying, "I guess I never explained why I left, it was for this moment to be given the opportunity to show you who I really am #realmusic #RCA."
Remember that in March, TMZ claimed that Malik left the band because he has found his new direction and that is to step into his own spotlight and to be a regular guy for a while.
Now that it has all been confirmed that Malik has found ultimate happiness in a solo career, Malik's fans must have been very thrilled for him too, and hopefully, his former boy group would never treat him as a contender in the music industry.
