The undefeated UFC Women's Bantamweight champion, Ronda Rousey, just recently posed for a Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition 2015 as reported in USAToday. Before the shoot she really wanted to be at her most beautiful shape and that only meant that she had to gain weight.
Rhonda Rousey is one of today's most famous UFC fighters and have also appeared in the movies Expendables 3, Fast and Furious 7 and the Entourage. She has also bagged EPSY for Best Female Athlete and Best Fighter, beating out Serena Williams, Lindsey Vonn and Breanna Stewart.
During a tell all in Cosmopolitan, the UFC fighter revealed facts from getting body image issues, her greatest fears, and what she does when she's not in the ring kicking off different fighters. In a recent issue of the magazine, Rousey revealed that she has to gain 15- pounds to strike a pose for the camera almost naked because she doesn't really feel she's not at her most attractive at 135 pounds, which she's used to when she's fighting.
The UFC fighter mentioned, "I felt like I was too much small for a magazine that is supposed to be celebrating the epitome of women." She said that she's at her healthiest, strongest, and at her most beautiful at 150 pounds. Rousey also explained that when growing up she thought that her body type, which is athletic, was uncommon for girls and considered it as a bad thing. And now that she has already grown up, the undefeated fighter has altered her perception of her athletic body. Rousey told Cosmo that now that she is much older, she has finally begun to accept her body's purpose.
Despite the fact that the UFC champion looks gorgeous at any weight, Rousey admitted that it was a long process for her to embrace her relationship with food and weight. She explained, "It took me a lot of time to develop a healthier relationship with food and with my weight."
Now that she's still the undefeated UFC Women's Bantamweight champion after fighting Correia last Saturday, August 1, Rousey must be getting on track to get back in her desired weight which is 150 pounds since she felt more beautiful in it.
