"Fear The Walking Dead" Season 1 will debut on August 23. Showrunners confirm that the start of the season 1 will feature walkers but will be lulled for a certain time being and will focus more on the rollercoaster family side kind of relationship being oblivious to the danger that is about to come in the city of LA.
The producers and the comic book creator Robert Kirkman waited for the right time in the making of "Fear The Walking Dead." The general idea is to have it exist through "The Walking Dead" but at the same time it could continue on even without it. Not to be called a spin-off as it may have its similarities with "The Walking Dead" in a general perspective with the battle for survival from walkers but will actually tell its own story as it will mainly focus on family drama. The overrun of humanity in an urban setting placed in a time way before Rick Grimes recovers from his coma, as reported by Paste Magazine.
Dread Central reports that the types of zombies that the main characters will come upon on "Fear The Walking Dead" is shown on the teasers are not your typical walkers as shown on "The Walking Dead." The setting will be in Los Angeles and with a new set of characters, which will consist of Mercedes Mason, Alycia Debnam Carey, Kim Dickens, Ruben Blades, Cliff Curtis, Coleman Domingo, Lorenzo James Henrie, Elizabeth Rodriguez, Frank Dillane and Shawn Hatosy.
"Fear The Walking Dead" is said to have 6 episodes with each episode summing up to an hour. This will surely give the viewers a taste of how the show will be run and hopefully will make them look forward to the second season with fifteen episodes. The second season is already slated on 2016.
August 13, 2015 will introduce "Fear The Walking Dead" Season 1 episode 1. It says that there will be walkers shown right from the start and will slowly fade momentarily as the story will center itself on family issues in Los Angeles City.
