Cara Delevingne managed to make headlines these past few days by having an awkward interview that was labeled as one of the most talked about interviews of all time.
However, Cara Delevingne is defended for her disastrous interview on Tuesday's "Good Morning Sacramento" by none other than John Green, who is at the same time, the author of "Paper Towns". The author of the book took to his blog what he has to say about the Brit actress- model and defended her, explaining that what makes her a star is that she doesn't really say the same old, mainstream answers just like some other celebrities.
In his blog he writes, "Cara, I spent more than a month with her on tour in Europe and the U.S., and watched as again and again, she was asked this question. Cara has read the book, multiple times, but the question is annoying--- not least because her male co- star, Nat Wolff was almost asked when he'd read the book while Cara was almost always asked if she'd read the book." Green went on and said, "You develop rote responses as a way of protecting yourself."
He also added, "Cara Delevigne doesn't exist to feed your narrative or your news feed?-? and that's precisely why she's so f--king interesting." For a record, Green admitted that he's never good at and never get used to the junketry, but if somebody would ask him he would straight- forwardly answers honestly.
While the anchors of the show criticized the actress for seeming uninterested, irritated, and exhausted during the interview, Delevingne then, talked about her side of the issue and responded in her Twitter account, saying, "Some people doesn't really understand sarcasm or the British sense of humor."
Others like Whoopi Goldberg and Nicole Wallace also reacted on Delevingne's approach in answering the question as said on Wednesday. Wallace even called her names for her behavior during the interview on the Sacramento morning show, Goldberg then asked if she even wants to promote her film or not, the actress just needs to suck it up.
While the interview quite put up a stir in the morning show and split viewers into two teams, those who thought that she was acting out of the line, and those who thought that the anchors and other viewers were, Cara Delevigne will always be Cara Delevigne--- young and interesting. Plus, she will always be known for this somehow one of the most awkward interviews in the history.
