Rothenberg revealed that the 12 Grounder tribes introduction is part of the "two huge stories" that will be the center of season 3's storyline. According to Melty, the clan will have their backstories discussed. So, viewers should expect old as well as new characters next season.
Other than this, the Ice Nation, led by the Ice Queen and previously the supreme threat to the stability of Lexa's alliance, and the Boat People, with whom Lincoln and Octavia planned to seek refuge at the beginning of Season 2.
Additionally, after fans knew the return of Alycia Debnam-Carey to 'The 100' season 3, there is a big chance that Lexa and Clarke will meet again. And despite the betrayal happened last season, the love between them will lead to forgiveness.
In a recent interview with IGN, actress Debnam-Carey revealed that, "Obviously things are not looking too great for Lexa on Clarke's side. She's a little angry. But Lexa loves Clarke, that's pretty clear."
It was noted that Clarke and Lexa shared a kiss in the Commander's tent on the eve of battle back in Episode 14 of Season 2. But previous reports reveal that there will be lack of romantic scenes in the upcoming season 3. Thus, viewers should not expect beyond the forgiveness they will have in 'The 100' season 3.
