Armstrong Asset Management appointed Yasushi Ujioka as the new Investment Director of the Singapore based company. Yasushi will be directly involved in the recently established US$150 million Armstrong South East Asia Clean Energy Fund that is scheduled for its final phase on August of present year. He will be partly involved on the deal management and origination around the Southeast Asia that is mainly concentrating on Indonesia. He will also be heading the firm's investment in the resource efficiency division.
Armstrong Asset Management's Managing Partner Andrew Affleck commented, "As Armstrong's investment strategy is to provide development capital to small-scale renewable energy and resource efficiency projects that help address the urgent energy needs of emerging markets in Southeast Asia, Yasushi's engineering and project management experience makes him a valuable addition to the team operational capability and depth."
Mr. Affleck also added, "He brings a good Euro Asian blend of cultural knowledge and is familiar with the multicultural business and investment environment in SE Asia."
