Former "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" Kim Richards was arrested for shoplifting in California. The reality star had to spend a night in jail before being bailed out.

CBS Los Angeles reports that Kim Richards of "RHOBH" allegedly stole some items from a Target store in Van Nuys Los Angeles last Sunday. Richards tried to steal more than $600 worth of various items. A police officer was quoted as saying that Richards was arrested before 4 o' clock in the afternoon. She spent the night at the Van Nuys jail after being bailed for $5000. Richards was released before 2 pm on Monday.

This is the second time that Richards has been arrested. Just last April, the former child star was arrested after displaying signs of intoxication at the Beverly Hills Hotel. She was also accused of kicking an officer in the leg during that time.

People reports that Richards, 50, an alcoholic, spent rehabilitation twice after the said incident in April. Richards is currently stressed with her ex-husband battling with cancer and her sister Kylie Richards who reportedly, is not in speaking terms with her.

Daily Mail reports that Richards is actually still supposed to be in rehabilitation in a facility in Malibu but has left in the middle of the night while being treated for her alcohol addiction. It has been reported that the reality star is currently staying with her half sister Kathy Hilton. This after she moved out from her rental home in L.A. which she could no longer pay after being removed from "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" and despite being offered some small roles. She admitted that being in the public eye after having gone rehabilitation has also stressed her.

Kim Richards starred in "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" in 2010 and has now been totally axed from the show.
