‘The Strain’ Season 2 Episode 5 Spoilers: Nora, Dutch will try to get Fet out of jail while Eph heads to Washington DC

By

In "The Strain" season 2 episode 5 titled, "Quick and Painless," Eph will head to Washington DC following his and Nora's experiment. Nora and Dutch on the other hand, will do what they can to help Fet get out of jail.

Eph and Nora found a possible valuable weapon against the strigoi in their "infect the infected" experiment, prompting Eph to head to the Washington DC in the new episode of FX's drama thriller.

According to International Business Times, as Corey Stoll's character leave for DC, Nora will have to act as a parent for Zach, played by Max Charles. But Zach and his real mother, Kelly, played by Natalie Brown, might meet sooner than later as the former already tracked her son's scent with her Feelers.

Everyone seems to have their own mission in the next episode as Mia Maestro's Nora and Ruta Gedmintas' Dutch will negotiate with Councilwoman Feraldo to get Fet out of jail.

Towards the end of episode 4 of "The Strain" titled, "The Silver Angel," Fet was beaten and arrested by the members of Feraldo after successfully blowing up the subway entrance and stopping more vampires from entering their town, reports Comic Book.

Five episodes in in its second season but the FX's hit series already garnered generally positive response from critics and viewers alike. Entertainment Weekly gave it a B- for its outright delivery of "creepy, cheeky shocks and gore." While the site commends the show's scare factor, it also noted that the series needs to be more engrossing.

The fifth episode somehow contradicts the whole feel of the show as things have not been easy for anyone part of the show. But the words "quick" and "painless" have always been associated with death so does that mean someone will see his or her end in the episode?

"The Strain" season 2 episode 5 airs Sunday, August 9 on FX.
