Argos Soditic has announced the completion of the acquisition of four Sage subsidiaries that specialize in software edition for vertical markets. Three of the Sage subsidiaries are located in France and one is in Spain. The transaction comprises of four concurrent spin off transactions and when carried out without any leverage, the result would be accelerated growth.
The Sage Group is aiming to refocus its strategies to its core business, which is the creation of ERP management software. It has sold four units that specialize in the development, maintenance and sale of business oriented management software. These are as follows:
- C&I, which is software for social housing organizations, local governments and real estate developers to become Salvia Developpement;
- Activite Automobile is software for dealers, distribution networks and automobile repair firms, to become I'Car Systems;
- ATL, to become Akanea, addresses the food industry, transport logistics and customs services;
- Aytos is the administration resource planning software for local authorities;
According to the Managing Director of Sage in France, Antoine Henry, "A new page is being written for Sage and for these units.
