In "The Whispers" season 1 episode 11 titled, "Homesick," Wes will do his best to protect the children from Drill and get them away from their invisible foe. Lena also did the same for Minx in the previous episode where she brought her daughter to safety until the tense situation dwindles.
The tension continuously increases however, now that the ABC thriller drama is just two episodes away from its first season finale.
According to The Futon Critic, Barry Sloane's Wes will try to convince President Winters, played by guest star Michael Cummins, to let him gather the children and bring them in a protected zone. Wes resorts to this plan in the hopes that this will cause Drill to weaken. Will his plan succeed? What Drill still finds a way to communicate with the children?
"Homesick" will follow "The Whispers" episode 10 titled, "Darkest Fears," where everyone agreed to trap Drill and drain away his energy.
Lena, played by Brianna Brown, had a great idea in her desperation to protect Minx, played by Kylie Rogers, from Drill's evil plans. Enstarz wrote that Lena decided to take her daughter to safety as she does not want to risk Minx being possessed by Drill. Wes however was a little doubtful about her plan since he is aware that Drill is capable of finding ways to do what he wants. Lena then pointed out that Drill's power may not matter if he has no idea of Minx's location.
Alison Talock and Michael Russell Gunn write "Homesick" while Ken Fink sits on the director chair.
"The Whispers" episode 10 will see Wes try to bring every child to a protected zone under the president's permission, hoping that this will weaken Drill. Will their unseen foe still locate the kids? Find out when "Homesick" airs Monday, August 17 on ABC.
