In line with the rumors on the iPhone 6c's upcoming release, leaked images of the smartphone's alleged battery has been making rounds in the internet.
According to Gizmo Burn, the leaked information revealed that the iPhone 6c will be packed with a 1715mAh capacity battery. However, if this will go down the wire, it will not be pleasing to the Apple public who had their share of a poor battery life in Apple's iPhone 6 series.
The rumored iPhone 6c will be Apple's first 4-inch phone since iPhone 5s. MNR Daily also cited that the upcoming iPhone 6c will feature the same specifications of the iPhone 6 and will be sold at a more affordable price.
When images of the 1715mAh capacity battery were leaked, it was believed that it is for the about to be released iPhone 6s but experts were quick to say that the 1715 battery is slightly smaller than what the 1810 capacity battery, which was the standard battery for the iPhone 6.
They also pointed out that since the iPhone 6 is a mirror image of the much anticipated iPhone 6s, it is most likely to be backed up with the larger battery instead of the 1715mAh.
However, an Apple dedicated tech website, Mac Rumors, pointed out a good and very valid claim that the battery's connector appears to be essentially identical to the one seen on the iPhone 6. The connector is also too far away from the connectors that were used in the iPhone 5s, which is basically the drawing point of the future iPhone 6c.
Another point that Mac Rumors used is the fact that the iPhone 6s will be released in just 2 months and it is most likely for the images to be leaked like what happened to the phone's front and back panels.
Nonetheless, these rumors and leaked images are good publicity for the Cupertino-based giant. It only fuels the fire for the nearing iPhone 6s and the iPhone 6c, which is reported and rumored to be released sometime next year.
