Google is partnering with India to re-launch Android One in September. This is to encourage people in India to use Google applications and services in order to increase its online earnings by offering a high quality smartphone at a very low cost.

Rajan Anandan, managing director in India and Southeast Asia, said in Financial Times that he would like to target mass-adoption for Android One with Google. He added that they will offer for as low as $31-$47 worth of phones. This is to reach out and entice people to buy their first smartphone with the offered price.

Aside from the cost, the phones will come with an Android Operating System. In this way, people can maximize the applications and services that Google offers.

Together with the re-launch, PC News said that Google and its partners are hoping that they can expand their other products in India such as YouTube and maps through Android One. YouTube, maps and other Google applications and services have low profits in India because of their slow internet bandwidth. Anandan stated in the news that they are wishing they will be able to develop ways to fit their users with such slow bandwidth along with the re-launch of Android One.

Anandan also said in the earlier report that through such project, India's global internet economy will increase through users who are online with their smartphones.

It is believed that Android One was launched in India last year and it was considered unsuccessful due to supply chains issues, according to the recent news. Rajan Anandan added in the report that they still keep their commitment to Android One despite of the failure last year. This means that Android One will come in full force this coming September to overcome last year's unsuccessful launch.

Online marketing is one of the businesses that are in demand now a days and Android One is hoping that it could increase online profit specifically in the developing countries like India.
