Tableau Software, the data analysis software programmer, announced that its initial public offer price would be pegged between US$24 and US$26 per share totalling US$215.3 million.
The volume of shares to be sold would be at five million shares, whole shareholders would be selling off their own 2.2 million shares. This was confirmed through an amended filing done with the US Securities and Exchange Commission.
Another clause stated that underwriters for the IPO have the option to purchase an additional 1,080,000 shares aside from the 7.2 million shares made available. Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley would be acting as representatives of the underwriters.
Based out of Seattle, WA, Tableau has more than ten thousand clients in over 100 countries. It had posted net income of US$1.4 million on revenues earned of US$127.7 million.
The company would be listing its Class A common stock at the NYSE under the symbol 'DATA',
