Thor: Ragnarok is underway and Kyle XY actress, Jaimie Alexander revealed that her character, Sif, will return and play a pivotal role in the upcoming film. New details about the film's director and writer are also expected after Marvel Studions President Kevin Feige's statement that an announcement is likely to be released by the end of summer.
The third installment in the Thor franchise is in the works and as reported by iSchoolGuide, it is rumored to influence other films in the MCU like the Avengers: Infinity War. However, according to Jaimie Alexander, Marvel has been dropping hints about the movie in different Marvel shows like Agents of S.H.I.E.L. D. and in the movie Captain America.
"There's a lot of great stuff they've peppered in through Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.," the actress said. "The Avengers, [Captain America: Civil War] will have some stuff. There's just all kind of Easter eggs and hints, if you're really paying attention. They're so good at interweaving everything throughout those films." she added, as reported by Nerdist.
Other than that, Alexander also revealed that she will return in the upcoming instalment of the Thor franchise to reprise her role as the Asgardian warrior, Sif. She also added that her character will play a pivotal role in the film.
As of writing, no details about the director and writer have been released by Marvel yet, however, many are speculating that an announcement might be made soon. This speculations follow Kevin Feige's previous statement that the company might announce the by the end of summer.
Feige also hinted that the director and writer could be two people, or it could also be only one person. According to We Got This Covered, Feige also said that filming for Thor: Ragnarok and Spider-Man might also start around June of 2016.
Chris Hemsworth and Tom Hiddleston are expected to reprise their roles as Thor and Loki in the upcoming Thor: Ragnarok. Look for it in theaters in November 03, 2017. More details about the movie are expected to be released in the coming months.
