Kopetz Recapitalized by LMW2

Sikich Investment Banking disclosed its recently concluded deal, the recapitalization of Kopetz Manufacturing, Inc by LMW2 Partners, a private equity firm. The Decatur, Illinois based Kopetz was established back in 1976. Since then it has built a name for itself as a renowned fabricator of metals of large heat exchangers and pressure vessels for the industries of processing and the energy sector. In recent years, Kopetz has grown by leaps and bounds, increasing its number of employees a hundred percent in 2010.

After managing the company to survive the recession, Jim Grady, owner of Kopetz, decided to look for an investment partner that will help him in leading the company in pursuing higher goals. Mr. Grady sought the services of Sikich Investment Banking to assist him in putting his plan into action. The Sikich team which is headed by Christopher Geier, Partner-in-charge with Managing Director Bob Stutz was able to create a number of enticing offers.
