On Tuesday, German Equity Partners IV, a fund administered by the independent German private equity firm, ECM Equity Capital Management GmbH has purchased MediFox Group.
Based in Hildesheim, Medifox is a joint venture of the management of the company through a succession ownership transaction.The founder and majority stockholders who made the company known in the market for nursing care support software in Germany. willingly stepped down from the business.
In 2010, he handed over the everyday operations to its present Managing Directors Dr. Thorsten Schliebe and Christian Stadtler. The management team of the MediFox Group was able to purchase a large number of equity shares in the company as part of the deal. Specific details of the deal were not divulged.
Managing Director of MediFox GmBH said, "With the ECM managed fund we have found a partner who has invested in our growth strategy."
He welcomes the joint venture of the GEP IV fund and ECM.
