‘Modern Family’ Season 7 Spoilers: Joe becomes Manny’s opposite; Will he become Jay and Gloria’s problem?

By

A slightly older Joe Pritchett will be seen in the new episodes of "Modern Family" and will reportedly become the opposite of his half-brother, Manny. Sofia Vergara recently posted series of photos via Instagram revealing his new TV son.

Previous reports indicated that there will be casting changes on the new season of the ABC hit sitcom. Turns out, an older Fulgencio is set to add humor in the Pritchett household beginning September.

Jeremy Maguire is the latest addition in "Modern Family" as the new Joe Pritchett, Latinos Post reported. Sofia Vergara revealed the identity of his new TV son via her Instagram, where she posted a series of photos showing Maguire on the set.

According to TVLine, young Jeremy joins the ABC show as the newest series regular and will become the yin to Manny's yang, his older brother, played by Rico Rodriguez. Manny is known to be a very affectionate and sensitive son of Gloria, which means Joe could be a bit rough just like his father, Jay, played by Ed O'Neill. Ultimately, will he become the problem child of the Delgado-Pritchett household?

This is not the first time that a recast happened in the show as the now regular Aubrey Anderson-Emmons, who plays Lily in the series, assumed the role from twins Ella and Jaden Hiller as Mitch and Cam's daughter.

Jeremy will be joining the whole cast of the award-winning series as they return to the small screen for another season, which might see a slight time jump as Alex struggles in her first year in college. There is also that one burning question if Haley and Andy will finally become a couple this season?

All questions will be answered when "Modern Family" returns this September 23 on ABC with a new Joe Pritchett.
