Almost all Robert Pattinson news these days pertains to the "Twighlight" actor and his fiancée FKA Twigs. But a new revelation about the actor left tongues wagging when he was interviewed by a German publication.
When asked how he would see himself as a father, it was obvious that he was taken aback by the question, but he made sure that he made a lasting impression.
"Definitely, although I still do not know when. Therefore I was so attracted by the role in Life," Pattinson told Jolie magazine via Thinking of Rob. "At my age, you do not get so many chances to play a father-and certainly not one who leaves his family in the lurch."
He was also asked would it be hard for his future children to grow with a famous dad.
"I don't think so .. Sure I will have a child who is totally cool and confident. He or she will probably look at me every day and think to yourself: Actually Why is this guy such a funny, quirky oddball?
The interview has something to do with his latest role in his upcoming film, "Life." Pattinson portrays the role of a father and a photographer Dennis Stock. The story focuses on his friendship with James Dean played by Dane DeHaan. The actor revealed that he really appreciates his role as Stock because at his age, it's very rare that you play as a dad, Gossip Cop reports.
FKA Twigs' beau also talked about how hard it was to leave the Edward image and how he manage to stay in the ground despite his popularity. Pattinson claimed that coming out of Edward character could have been quite hard. But now he's thankful that things are completely changing.
The actor also admitted that knowing that he always needs to improve himself as an actor, as a star and as a human being has kept him on the ground, according to E! News. Pattinson also shared he's a bit shy and a little control freak, not a good combination of an actor he claimed.
He ended, he would be likely a different kind of dad. "Life"directed by Dutch director Anton Corbijn features other celebrities including Ben Kingsley, Kristen Hager and Joel Elgerton. It was filmed entirely in Canada.
