Lorde takes Drake's side vs. Meek Miller; Drake's album sold a million copies despite feud

The feud between Drake and Meek Mill that started last month has gotten all over Twitter, with fans taking sides between the two. However, one artist stood up for Drake - Lorde who seemed to defend her co-artist with all her heart. Lorde took to Twitter her stand about Drake's songwriting skills.

Lorde must be on Drake's side as she took to the microblogging site Twitter her stand about Drake's songwriting skill. For a quick recap, Drake has been in a feud with Meek Mill after the latter exposed Drake's biggest secret - him having a ghost writer for his songs.

Drake was dissed by Meek Mill on Twitter where Meek said that someone named Quentin Miller was the one who wrote songs for Drake, although Miller was properly credited on Drake's album, as per Seventeen.

Meek Mill and Drake's beef started when Quentin Miller singing 'Know Yourself' in a video clip had leaked, which led to Drake being accused of hiring a ghost writer. This issue made fans a little disappointed to learn that Drake did not write most of his song lyrics.

Now, Lorde is joining the crowd on taking sides by defending Drake's 'mad skills' in writing songs. Lorde's statement on Twitter about the song 'Hotline Bling' was "hotline bling' is a really creative clever way of saying something really simple... drake has a total pop songwriter approach to hook words/titles - stuff like 'trophies', or 'pound cake' or 'hotline bling'..."

With Drake and Meek Mill's beef, the former's album had sold a million dollar album for the fourth time. The International Business Times reported that "If You're Reading this It's Too Late" album of Drake was the first album released this year to sell one million copies.

Does this mean Lorde and Drake might have a good chance of doing a collaboration?
