Singer Demi Lovato just recently made the cover of Cosmopolitan September 2015, but some stores didn't really displayed Lovato's magazine cover. On the other hand, Valderrama voiced out his opinion on the issue flooding the singer and had said nice things to his girlfriend's pictures in the magazine.
The former "Disney" child star was photographed for the September 2015 cover of Cosmopolitan and she's not pleased that some of the stores may now be forced to hide the cover shot inside a plastic bag, just like those pornography magazines.
Demi took to Instagram to speak out her complaints and disappointment about the issue, saying, "What these individuals protesting don't understand is that for the first time in a long time I feel incredibly EMPOWERED and the MOST BEAUTIFUL I've ever felt on this magazine."
She also emphasized that she now loves herself and it shows in the magazine cover. She also said that she's never been so much excited to do the shoot, not until this one since she already embraced her body.
The "Skycraper" singer also added, I think what's more important is showing women there's NOTHING WRONG with embracing their bodies and sexuality. I am confident in my own skin and A PROUD @COSMOPOLITAN COVER GIRL!"
The music artist, then, ended her Instagram rant with the hastag that simply said what she felt when stores wrapped her magazine cover in plastic bags, "#unwrapmycosmo."
Meanwhile, there had been a lot of rumors and speculations surrounding Demi Lovato and Wilmer Valderrama's relationship, but it just recently the two became very open about their love and affection for each other.
The "Heart Attack" singer and the "That '70s Show" actor have been sharing special moments and their support for one another on social media accounts, as claimed by Fashion and Style.
In fact, during an interview with Fox News, Valderrama said, "We have been very supportive of one another and she has been super supportive of what I've been doing." And it's clear that he supports girlfriend's recent slam of a movement to unwrap her Cosmopolitan covers on store shelves.
Although this wasn't the first time a celebrity has taken her complaints to social media about an issue which embodies women, their sexuality, and how they've been dealing with the media.Just recently, Ariana Grande also took to her social media accounts to recognize an issue about how women are reported on by the media.
