The managing director of Granite Partners III LP, Douglas Buchanan, had announced earlier today that the partnership had invested in SIM Digital. The investment would enable SIM to acquire PS production services.
SIM is a rental facility of world class quality specializing in digital production equipment and workflow services for film and television industries. It has offices located in the US, Canada and China. On the other hand, PS is one of the foremost Canadian motion picture production equipment professionals that rents out its equipment. They operate offices in Halifax, Toronto and Vancouver with supplies of production equipment from grips to cranes for the Canadian entertainment industry.
Buchanan added, "We are very pleased with our investment in SIM and in helping them to expand their business and their opportunity for growth by combining these businesses."
