"Orange Is The New Black" Season 3 ended with a lot of cliffhangers including Alex Vause facing great danger. Laura Prepon, the actress who plays the role of Alex, dished in a recent interview that despite what her character has gone through in the previous season, fans will see more of her in season 4.
In the season 3 finale of "Orange Is the New Black," Alex was confronted by an assassin that was sent by Cooper, a drug dealer, Screencrush reported. Days after Prepon took to Instagram to show a photo of her holding her character's ID and noting that she is ready to make Season 4 great for the fans of the show, she was interviewed and she divulged more details about the Netflix original series.
When asked about what her character's relationship will be with Piper on Season 4 after they called it quits in Season 3, she shared, "You can't control where your heart goes. Alex and Piper will always have a connection, and I definitely think that if Alex needed her or she needed Alex, they would be there for each other completely," TV Guide reported.
Taylor Schilling, the actress who plays the role of Piper, chimed in and said that if the bond and the connection of two people happens, the relationship never gets severed. She added that she is not sure if Piper can make it on her own but she thinks that the journey of Piper for Season 4 will be about learning how to stand on her own. Schilling continued, "And I think probably she didn't realize how dependent she was."
Prepon also talked about the writers of "Orange Is The New Black" and said that they, the actresses, are being pushed out of their comfort zones in the scenes asked of them. She added that they are asked to be raw and vulnerable and she is confident that her co-stars will be there to support her. She regarded her co-actresses in the show as an incredible sisterhood, U.S. News reported.
"Orange Is The New Black" Season 4 will be back on Netflix this 2016.
