Latest 'Scandal' season 5 spoilers reveal that the show will premiere with a bang. This means that there will be no time jump, as the upcoming installment will pick up almost immediately after the events of season 4 finale. 'Scandal' season 4 left viewers with lots of cliffhangers. And these things could be answered in the next season. Shonda Rhimes announced during TCA Summer press tour that there will be no time jump in Season 5. And the upcoming season will be very difficult for most characters, according to Vine Report.
In fact, one of the most shocking revelations happened last season was when Quinn found out that his partner was actually the one who killed B613 trial jury members and other innocent people. And before the season ended, it showed Quinn pointed a gun at his head.
Katie Lowes, who plays Quinn Perkins, recently spoke to TV Fanatic about the big trouble in store for 'Scandal' Season 5. Lowes revealed that her character will be going through a huge conflict regarding her feelings towards Huck. "She's in a really huge pickle. It's really a conflicting emotion of do you kill your best friend/mentor/sexual lover/all the different various relationships we've been to each other [and] the man you lick every once and a while for kicks?"
She also adds, "The truth is he killed a bus load of innocent American people and chopped a lot of their heads off for fun so Huck's crossed a major line. Now Quinn has crossed lines but not that bad."
According to Melty, actor Guillermo Diaz, who plays Huck, himself does not have an idea if he could remain as Gladiator, even if Quinn let him live.
