After numerous bugs have been found in the previous iOS 9 beta build, Apple seems to have redeeamed itself with the recent release of iOS 9 beta 5. According to several testers, the said build brings about improvements to battery efficiency as well as fixes to the connectivity issues. On top of that, a new set of wallpapers has been included and allows users to personalize the appearance of their iPhones further.
One source commented that adding wallpapers to the current build indicates that Apple may have had a big progress in developing the iOS 9. If the speculationis correct, consumers and tech savvies could expect the operating system to be released on qualified devices as early as September this year.
In order to further the development, the fifth beta of iOS 9 was recently opened to non-developers. This will allow Apple to be able to listen to feedbacks in case bugs are found by ordinary users. While it is free to update, users still have the options whether they could go with the build or not.
The iOS 9 was first introduced during the WWDC 2015 conference in June, with a beta program opened for the early adopters of the mobile operating system. Many believed that it will officially come out on September 9, which will also be the time for the unveiling of Apple's iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus.
The purpose of running a beta program is to help third-party app developers come up with software ideas that will be prepared as Apple rolls out the operating system to the public. The new wallpapers are a nice addition to the iOS. However, Apple still neead more time to do much since the developers would require more attention.
Apple will be surprising the whole world this coming September with new gadgets and latest developments in their labs. Then again, the Cupertino tech giant may still have more work to do in order to improve various systems before they get unveiled.
