Baskins to be acquired by Boot Barn

The favorite retailer of western and workwear has finalized an agreement to purchase the stores of Baskins. including its online website and thirty other branches. Baskins is very well-known in Louisiana and Texas. On the other hand, Boot Barn has stores situated in twenty one states across the country. The purchase will strengthen the position of Boot Barn as the biggest specialty seller in the trade of western and work wear that has stores from the Dakotas to Texas and California to Florida.

Boot Barn Chief Executive Officer, Jim Conroy said, "Adding Baskins to the Boot Barn family enables us to bridge our West Coast and East Coast presence and provides us with immediate entry into the core markets of Texas and Louisiana with a critical mass of store locations.
