Ronda Rousey will be seen in a different view this time around. The UFC fighter is set to portray Carol Danvers or known as Captain Marvel. The said film is set to be released in 2018.

Ronda Rousey, the arm bar queen in UFC is serious on taking another venture, acting. Aside from training for UFC fights and other mixed martial arts comprehension, Ronda Rousey is being looked on to take the lead character for the upcoming Captain Marvel film. This might not be the first time that Ronda Rousey will be seen in the big screen; though, this is the first film that she will be the lead character to. The UFC fighter starred in Fast and the Furious films and Expandles 3 to name a few, Celeb Buzz shared.

In a report done by CBS Sports, the UFC fighter had posted a photo about the said Captain Marvel film. The posted photo was a collage of some of the fan arts that her followers have created - her in a superhero costume. This might be one of the obvious ventures the UFC fighter is doing as early as now to show a hint about her acting stint.

Amazing pictures made by the fans are what made Ronda Rousey more hyped to portray the role. The upcoming stand alone film is said to be part of Marvel's phase three to be premiered in the year 2018, Hollywood Life shared. The UFC champion had fun viewing all sent pieces of sketches to her - her as Captain Marvel.

Furthermore, the Captain Marvel production can't seem to think of any more stars who can give justice to the role than Ronda Rousey. The UFC fighter's strength and line of experience with action films might be a good catch to have her the new superhero lead role.

Though, it sure that Captain Marvel will be released in the year 2018, no specific date has been set yet.
