UFC fighters Chael Sonnen and Anderson Silva are said to have a face-off tentatively on January 2016. The two UFC contenders went head-to-head few years back and were set to see each other again next year after suspension are lifted.
Anderson Silva is currently facing suspension charges due to steroids consumption during his last fight on January of this year. The Nevada Athletic Commission (NAC) ruled his 1-year suspension from the date of his fight, MMA mania featured. On the other hand, Chael Sonnen, is consequently facing a 2-year suspension due to failing multiple drug tests and will resume his UFC career not long after Anderson Silva.
Another round is heating up for both fighters after their suspension charges lifted. The banned fighters are already looking forward to having the comeback face-off. Toronto Sun shared that UFC fighter, Chael Sonnen already showing deep interest by tweeting #oneMoreTime letting t MMA fans be excited and wonder what will come next for both fighters. Expectations are high because of quite long suspensions that have been stressed out to Anderson Silva and Chael Sonnen.
Chael Sonnen was remembered to have challenged Anderson Silva twice - 2010 and 2012 - in which he had a 0-2 record against the challenged opponent. Though, Chael Sonnen had expressed his desire to retire after the declaration of his suspension, ESPN reported. It looks like the said retirement is not happening anytime soon as he showcased his interest to have the said comeback face-off to reality tentatively scheduled on January 2016.
Chael Sonnen's hint tweet is gaining a lot of following and re-tweets in Twitter and on other social media platforms. Fans are now speculating who will win the fight if ever it pushes through. Moreover, if the fight will commence, it would be one of the maiden UFC events for the year 2016.
