RelayRides announced today its acquisition of Wheelz, a peer to peer car sharing policy. The country's biggest peer to peer car sharing marketplace, RelayRides has been reportedly generating good revenue for a number of months now. The purchase represents a big merger of car sharing marketplaces which is preparing the company to further speed up its growth and maintain its market leadership ahead of a fast growing industry.
As part of the purchase, RelayRides will be welcoming a number of important people from the team of Wheelz. They will continue to provide its clientele together with its owners of both companies the advantages of an expanded marketplace. Since it was founded in 2011, Wheelz remains to be the leader in the peer to peer car sharing industry.
