"King Kong: Skull Island" is hopefully another movie in the works that would be able to feature the huge ape. Universal and Legendary Pictures hired scriptwriter Derek Conolly to rewrite and probably refine the original script. To add more skills in the upcoming film the production team is in early talks with British actor Toby Kebbell. Although it is unclear yet what particular role he will play if ever he signs up.

Cinema Blend points out that there are no specific details as to how the movie will turn out. But they gave out pieces and bits of what they gathered. The movie will take place in the 1970's and will presumably jump off in Detroit. A great quantity of the movie will transpire on the island where all sorts of critters and animals live.

Science Fiction reports has reported that the now famous scriptwriter of "Jurassic World" has been hired to rewrite or polish the script for "King Kong: Skull Island." Connolly has also participated in "Safety Not Guaranteed" and "Monster Trucks." The script has been has efforts put in by 3 other writers namely Dan Gilroy, Max Borenstein and John Gatins. "Nightcrawler," "Real Steel," and "Godzilla" are just some of the movies that these writers have worked on accordingly. Other than that the report adds that the production team has their hands full in finding actors who would replace Michael Keaton and K.K. Simmons. Keaton and Simmons left due to concerns with schedules.

Director Jordan Vogt-Roberts and the rest of the team are hopeful that Toby Kebbell will jump into the "King Kong: Skull Island" wagon as stated by IGN. Toby was behind the mask of Doctor Doom in the "Fantastic Four" remake and Koba in "Dawn of the Planet of the Apes." If He so chooses to sign up he will join probable casts like John C. Reilly, Samuel L. Jackson, Tom Hiddleston, Corey Hawkins and Brie Larson.

Another movie to look forward to for King Kong fans is "King Kong: Skull Island." Since they have lost some of the original casting members they are eyeing Toby Kebbell to fill in along with other actors. To polish the changes is Derek Conolly who has been extremely successful in his "Jurassic World" movie.
