The soon- to- be released Diablo 3 Patch 2.3.0 will be offering a host of major new features and legendary items including a powerful relic, adventure mode and new zone to explore in the game.
According to Cinema Blend, the renowned game developer Blizzard Entertainment has recently released a run-down of updates on Diablo 3 Patch 2.3.0 which is yet to receive a release date.
One of the major features in the latest update is the legendary item called the Kanai's Cube. Contrary to Horadric Cube which enables gamers to merge items, this new artifact rather breaks them down to prepare the special effects as passive skills for the gamer's character. Also, the Kanai's Cube can change crafting materials from one type to another. Players will be able to discover what more it can do pretty soon from Blizzard.
An all- new zone for fans to explore in Diablo 3 will also be added once the Patch 2.3.0 goes live. It's called 'The Ruins of Sescheron' described as an icy wasteland where a horde of new enemies live. Among the several destinations is the Tomb of King Kanai, the place for gamers to look for the first cube.
In addition, an overhaul in the game's crafting system is expected in the new patch where crafting materials that players will find while reaching higher levels will be the same materials one can have at level 70. The Adventure Mode, on the other hand, will go through some big changes where the players will get that feeling to go back to older zones:
As Blizzard Entertainment describes, "This patch also includes changes designed to improve the pacing of Adventure Mode while encouraging players to explore Bounties across a variety of Acts. In addition to removing the Realm of Trials, we're improving. Bounty rewards by adding new Act-specific crafting mats to Horadric Caches. Completing Bonus Acts in Adventure Mode games will also now grant a bonus Horadric Cache stuffed with crafting materials, gold, and additional Act-specific crafting mats."
Lastly, the game developer has also raised the bar in challenging its loyal Diablo fans as it increases the levels of difficulty after reaching Torment 6 and the game's difficulty will go up further to Torment 10 which shall yield great rewards.
Blizzard Entertainment has confirmed its plan to launch Diablo 3 Patch 2.3.0 Public Test Realm to PC and Mac users for an early look at the features from the game's upcoming major update.
At the time of this writing, the release date for Diablo 3 Patch 2.3.0 is not yet confirmed and listed as 'coming soon' to PC, PS4 and Xbox One consoles.
