"Sense8" Season 2 was given a greenlight and the series creator, J. Michael Straczynski, shared that there will be new clusters to join the series. However, he teased that not all will be allies as some of them use their abilities to help others.
In a report by Christian Today, J. Micahel Straczynski said in an interview that the new installment will be featuring new characters but some of them capitalize on their special gifts so that they can hur people or cause pain.
Straczynski added, "So not all Sense8s will be naturally good people. Some people with that ability might not be the best people. So there's a whole range of them." However, there was no report or details regarding the new characters of the show and from which part of the world they will be coming from.
The series creator also shared that he and Andy and Lana Wachowski once talked about the number of people that are part of a cluster, Realty Today reported. Straczynski also said that another inspiration for the series is his relationship with his father as he even likened himself to one of the characters of the show, Wolfgang played by Max Reimelt. He did not, however, share further details.
A rumors about the plot details of "Sense8" Season 2 is that the sensates will be able to use their powers more and can even tap into each other's memories just like what Will and Riley did during the season 1 finale. However, this has not been confirmed yet. It was also reported that the love story of the two sensate couples would be taking a different direction. Wolfgang and Kala's relationship might be in trouble while Gorski and Riley's relationship will blossom even more.
Meanwhile, we previously reported that "Sense8" Season 2 will have a particular arc as opposed to season one as it was only an origin story.
"Sense8" season 2 is expected to return on the small screen by 2016.
