The Elder Scrolls 6 NOT Happening Because of Fallout 4? Bethesda Declares Near Impossibility of Sequel, Skyrim 2

By

When The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim was introduced to the public, the frontier of role-playing games changed drastically. The game immediately became a standard to try to follow after, and because of that, fans wanted more. However, as painful as it may seem, the next installment in the franchise, or the improbability of one, may just trigger disappointment above all things.

According to Christian Post, Pete Hines, the Vice President of Design at Bethesda, declared that the possibility of both Skyrim 2 and or Elder Scrolls 6 still lies on a very slim line. Their focus as of the moment, mainly lies on other games and installments. As fans may not understand entirely what the point of the diversion is, Bethesda has solely the intention of making great games for the said gaming community.

Recently reported by Gaming Bolt, Hines was quoted, "We are getting to the point where these studios that we have acquired have now put a thing out, figured out how they work together and are starting to hit a bit more consistency." Furthermore, they aimed to making four titles come out each year, but seemingly have not been able to do so because of these conditions.

With that being said, the proposition of The Elder Scrolls 6 has moved drastically throughout the months, as delivered by Inquistr. Because of the hit Fallout 4, the idea of The Elder Scrolls 6 coming out soon is not likely to happen. The game now, according to Bethesda, has been put on hold indefinitely, or until they announce that they will initially be getting busy with the said title.

Sad to state for The Elder Scrolls 6, the anticipation of a game that will follow the undeniable success of Skyrim may not be within hand's reach as of the moment. Fans can only keep their fingers crossed for future announcements that Bethesda will give, which will perhaps draw a silver lining on the franchise.
