“X-Men: Apocalypse” wraps production in a perfect way, Bryan Singer parties hard with James McAvoy, Ben Hardy, Bryan Singer, Olivia Munn and many more

Bryan Singer didn't call off the "X-men: Apocalypse", but it's mostly wrapped up. The film director announced on social media that the main unit of "X-Men: Apocalypse" has finished its production. While there's still some second unit filming that needs to get started, the cast, including the filmmaker partied it up.

Actress Olivia Munn, also known as Psylocke in the movie, posted photos from the film's wrap up party on her Instagram account. "A director and his #horsemen," she captioned a photo of herself alongside Ben Hardy (Angel/Archangel), Alexandra Shipp (Storm), and Bryan Singer. The three actors and Michael Fassbender play the role of the Four Horsemen. Munn also posed with Hardy and her trainers, Karine Lemieux and Ken C. Tran.

According to Slash Film, the whole cast really did party hard, as evidenced by the drink menu posted by Singer on his Instagram. The menu was full of Red Bull. But that's just because apparently, the party with the entire cast was sponsored by Red Bull.

Singer also shared snapshots of himself with some of the director's lead stars, including Josh Helman (William Stryker), James McAvoy (Professor X), Ben Hardy (Angel), Olivia Munn (Psylocke), and Alexandra Shipp (Storm). He stated on the photo, "Great wrap night with the best cast and crew a director could hope for! #joshhelman #jamesmcavoy#benhardy #xmen #xmenapocalypse."

The "X-Men: Apocalypse" started its shooting late April. Most of its shooting days were spent in Montreal. Singer directs the film with the script created by Simon Kinberg. Besides the party people mentioned, the cast additionally includes Michael Fassbender,Jennifer Lawrence, Nicholas Hoult, Rose Byrne, Evan Peters, Lucas Till, and Hugh Jackman from previous films. Oscar Isaac, Tye Sheridan, Kodi Smit-McPhee, and Lana Condor are also the new characters introduced in the film, Cinema Blend mentioned.

A lot of the movie's enthusiasts question if "X-Men: Apocalypse" will be Bryan Singer's last attempt with the movie franchise. Since after directing the first two series, Singer passed the directing task to Brett Ratner for "The Last Stand", while Matthew Vaughn for the universe with "First Class".

The film first started in the '1980s, when an ancient mutant Apocalypse occurred with a mission of global disaster. And according to the film director's tweets, there's still more weeks before the second unit starts shooting. Moreover, the film is set for a release on May 27, 2016.
