"Suits" Season 5 ended on Wednesday as the episode "Faith" already aired. In it, Mike was seen resigning from the firm for his sake as well as his fiance's, Rachel, sake but was arrested towards the end of the episode. Aside from him, Harvey also resigned as he wanted to save Pearson Specter Litt from Hardman.
According to TV Line, the questions that fans are asking from the last episode, "Faith," will Harvey return to work this season 6 and are the other keepers of Mike's secret in trouble? Executive producer Aaron Korsh talked about the game changers in a recent interview.
A lot of the viewers of the show feel that the childhood priest that Mike confided to about his secret is the reason why he got arrested by police. However, Executive producer Aaron Korsh said that a priest cannot hand someone in since it is a rule. He noted that everyone is asking of who turned Mike in but the more important question is if the faux lawyer will be able to get out of the complicated situation.
Korsh pointed out that everyone's decision in "Suits" Season 5 finale will be affected due to the arrest of Mike. It is possible that Harvey will return to work in an attempt to save Mike but it remains to be unseen until season 6. However, for Harvey, since he has been undergoing therapy with Dr. Paula Agard and has been doing a lot of progress, that might come to a halt as he will be in distress due to Mike's situation, Yahoo News reported.
Inquisitr reported that the season finale was basically backstories of Harvey and Mike and how they have been influenced by this regarding their decision in life. There will not be a time jump for season 6 according to Korsh as they want to maintain the tension of the season 5 finale when the next season premieres.
