After cheating accusations started spreading regarding Ben and former family nanny Christina Ouzounian, Jennifer and Ben decided to hire a private mediator to help then finalize their divorce.
According to the Daily Mail UK, both Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck have been keeping their wedding rings on since their split. Though the couple have gone their separate ways, the decision to keep their rings on was for their children's sake. However, Ben has recently been spotted without his ring on. Rumours started flying that the actor has finally moved on from his split, but strong sources confirmed that was not the case, and the taking off of the ring was just a part of the children gradually getting used to the new situation.
In a report from Forever Vogue, the couple have hired a private mediator to help them finalise their divorce. The private mediator will have the challenge of sorting out various personal and financial issues, including the main family home in LA which is currently undergoing major renovation. While its reported Jennifer is open to Ben having as much time as he wants with the kids, she's apparently not all sure about living under the same roof, and is rethinking their living situation.
Real Time News reported that Ben has been spending some quality time with his kids lately. While Jennifer is away from home filming for her latest movie in Atlanta, Ben has been full on 'daddy duty' as he was spotted taking his three children out.
Though the couple have made no further comment on their divorce since they first announced it, both Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck have been working together to help make the procedure as less painful as possible. Despite the cheating rumours and accusations, the former couple are reportedly finalizing their divorce in an amicable manner.
