With the constant divorce rumours crazing the Smith family, Jada Pinkett Smith thought it was about time she opened up on her relationship with the famous Will Smith. In an interview with Howard Stern on the 'Howard Stern Show,' Jada discussed how her 'open' relationship works and how it's kept the couple going for more than two decades.
According to Thy Blac Man, Jada Pinkett Smith admitted to Howard Stern that both her and hubby Will are free to date other people. Though Jada emphasized that it didn't necessarily mean they were allowed to date whoever they like, or do whatever they want, she explained how they have built a stronger relationship with not being too clingy with one another.
In another report from the Daily Mail UK, Jada Pinkett Smith explained how she's not Will's watcher, and doesn't want to know his every move. She stated, "You gotta trust who you're with, and at the end of the day, I'm not here to be anybody's watcher. I'm not his watcher. She continued her side of their relationship by saying her husband is a grown man, and has all the freedom in the world. However Jada strongly emphasized how it's important to her that Will can look himself in the mirror and know he's not done wrong.
In another report from Eonline, Jada pinkett Smith was asked if she ever gets jealous or insecure of her man looking at other woman. Jada being the strong character she is, quickly answered back, "If your man can't really see another woman's beauty how the hell is he going to see yours?" The 44 year old actress also revealed in the interview that being strong is one of the main factors that have kept her and Will together, as any relationship is hard work.
Despite the nonstop rumours the Jada Pinkett Smith has been facing, the actress has stood strong by her husband, Will Smith's side. Being open about her relationship has helped clarify the actual status of the famous couple, and may even help but an end to the divorce talk. At the end of the day, Jada Pinkett Smith is happy how her relationship is working, and believes that having some sort of distance between her and Will has helped them through the years.
