Just as news circulated that the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards is going to open with a performance from Nicki Minaj, the host for this weekend's show, Miley Cyrus, is quite not happy with the way Minaj handled the Taylor Swift -VMA nomination argument. She even mentioned that the rapper is not very polite and that she's selfish.

There might be some awkward tension at the MTV Video Music Awards on August 30 for Miley Cyrus just threw some major shade at Nicki Minaj for complaining about her Video Of The Year nominee rebuff. Miley Cyrus, who is hosting the MTV Video Music Awards on Aug. 30, just addressed Nicki Minaj's famous outburst in a report by HollywoodLife. Cyrus just commented that the rapper was "not very polite" when handling the VMA nomination controversy. She also pointed out that the "Starships" singer was super selfish.

"I didn't follow it," Miley mentioned on The New York Times before stating that she didn't like how Minaj's came up with "anger." The "Wrecking Ball" singer continued protesting and stated that people often forget about their choices and how they treat people. She stressed that if you do things with an open heart and you come at things with love, you would be heard and she would have respected Minaj's statement. But Cyrus pointed out that she doesn't respect her statement because of the anger that came with it

She also made her aim at Minaj by stating, "And it's not anger like, Guys, I'm frustrated about some things that are a bigger issue. You made it about you. Not to sound like a bitch, but that's like, Eh, I didn't get my VMA." The former Disney child star also made clear that Minaj didn't have to make the issue about herself. Cyrus continued by adding, "What I read sounded very Nicki Minaj, which, if you know Nicki Minaj is not too kind. It's not very polite," and the singer ended with the statement that she doesn't consider that MTV did it on purpose.

On the other hand, Complex published an explanation of Minaj's reason for the whole issue. They took to Twitter their previous story again and wrote, "Nicki Minaj was right to call the #VMAs racist. Miley Cyrus may have missed the memo." That drew out the "Anaconda" singer's attention. She, then, made a response and wrote back, "Complex, I always appreciate you. Thank you."

Since the former "Hannah Montana" star's explosive revelations about her points of view on Minaj's VMA controversy, many believe that the shade might end up with an awkward tension. Speculations suggest that the statements of Cyrus may add heat at the MTV Video Music Awards on August 30. And now, many VMA fans are waiting for the onstage reaction between the two music icons.
