What seems to be an official "Warcraft" movie trailer has leaked online. The film based on the popular Real Time Strategy game franchise has been highly anticipated by Warcraft fans and moviegoers alike. However, the studio responsible for the production of the film has yet to release even a minute of official video. As a result, leaked photos and videos have been released for every few months.
The most recent "Warcraft" video leak was shown in the Comic-Con back in July. The new leaked video appears to be a full trailer. The video provides an overview of some of the characters (both real and CG), as well as the environments to be featured in the upcoming movie complete with sweeping statements. The footage as expected is grainy and is not the best quality but for excited fans, it would suffice.
Directed by Duncan Jones, the plot revolves on encounters between humans and orcs set in the world of Azeroth; the same concept of the successful MMORPG game under the same name. It will begin with a back story on how the Orcs and Humans met. The film reveals the conflicts and subsequent consequences between the two.
Travis Fimmel will be starring as Sir Anduin Lothar, the lead protagonist in the adaptation. He is the leader of the humans. Dominic Cooper is playing King Llane Wrynn, ruler of the human Kingdom of Stormwind. The Orcs are led by Durotan, Chieftain of the exiled Frostwolf clan portrayed by Toby Kebbell. Fimmel said in an interview that "Warcraft" is enormously concerned with special effects and CGI mapping. The CGIs are beautifully done by the team
The Warcraft game was developed by Blizzard Entertainment and launched in 1994. "Warcraft" movie will be released under the banner of Universal Pictures and is said to be the first part of a trilogy. The movie is going to hit the theatres on June 10, 2016.
