Asus CEO Jerry Shen has confirmed that the Zenfone Max will be unveiled at the Internationale Funkausstellung Berlin (IFA) 2015 along with the Zenfone zoom this coming 4th of September.
According to First Post, the Company had recently launched its Zenfone Deluxe, Zenfone 2 Laser and the Zenfone Selfie in the maiden Asus Zen Festival in India. Johnney Shih (Asus Chairman) had announced all these phones and also provided a sneak peek to the 5,000mAh battery sporting phone, Asus Zenfone Max.
A report from IB times also confirmed that the Zenfone Max sports an enormous 5000 mAh battery, where it allows the users to utilize the phone for more than a day. The Zenfone Max also includes an HD display with Gorilla Glass 4, Snapdragon 410 CPU, 2GB RAM, 4G-LTE support and dual-SIM slots.
As for its camera, it will reportedly boast a 13mp back shooter with PixelMaster technology, Dual-LED Real Tone flash, laser auto-focus. On the other hand, a 5mp with wide-angle field of view said to sport on its front-snapper.
Furthermore, a 16GB built-in memory and microSD card slot for storage expansion are also said to sport in this Zenfone device. It will also have a Bluetooth 4.0, and will run on Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box, skinned by Asus' Zen UI, Christian Post wrote.
Given the Zenfone Max's specs and feature, it is said unfortunately best as a secondary handset for full users who love playing clearly extensive games, running other CPU-hungry applications and viewing 1080p clips. It is also said that the battery that can last for two days with normal use (text messaging, calls, Wi-Fi on) may not be planned to go higher than that.
The Zenfone Max and Zenfone Zoom have been showcased during CES (Consumer Electronics Show) 2015 at Las Vegas and at Zen Festival 2015, New Delhi. Asus has kept the release date; price and details of features under wraps. Nevertheless, the new announcement indicates that the Zenfone Max and Zenfone Zoom smartphones will eventually work on sale soon.
