September's coming and Apple fans are getting hyped up on the new iPhone 6S believed to be launched on a September 9 event in San Francisco, as what Apple's mysterious and playful media invitations suggest. The new iPhone 6S is expected to be unveiled this month along with the latest products of the giant tech company such as the Apple TV and new desktop and mobile operating systems.
The Iphone 6S is presumed to be the next line of Apple iPhones and will most likely retain its predecessor's (the iPhone 6) current look. Its new casing will incorporate a design that will fix the #bendgate issue in the iPhone 6 Plus units. There will also be a rose gold color to add to the existing silver, space grey, and gold models.
Apple's new iPhone 6S comes with a faster broadband as per leaked information. Mark Gurman of 9to5mac says that the iPhone 6s will likely include the MDM9635M chip by Qualcomm which will boost the phone's performance to that of a Category 6 LTE device, making it twice as fast.
Other significant upgrades will also be integrated in the new iPhone 6S such as the same Force Touch display used in Apple Watch according to Ming-Chi Kuo, KGI Securities analyst. This feature enables the user to show additional options in the phone's limited screen space by adding more pressure on a single touch or tap. With the emergence of Android Pay and other mobile payment apps, the iPhone 6S will also give certain improvements to the Touch ID feature for Apple Pay.
Compared with the 8 megapixel camera of the current iPhone model, the new iPhone 6s will deliver quality, high resolution pictures with its 12 megapixel camera. Not only that, it will also support 4K video recording, a revamped A9 processor, and a 2GB RAM.
It is also rumored that the iPhone 6S will ditch the LCD display for a more power-efficient OLED display technology like in the Apple Watch. It might also have motion wallpaper feature or dynamic wallpapers which first appeared in the iOS7.
Aside from that, Apple's next line of iPhones will showcase the new iOS9 which will have split screen and multi-tasking features for a more enhanced user experience. It will also give an intelligence upgrade to Siri, Apple's virtual built-in assistant that follows users' voice commands to operate the iPhone device.
Following Siri's hints and the company's product launch history which is always held on the month of September, the iPhone 6S is believed to be launched on September 9 and to be first released in the UK, US, and Germany.
