The Incredibles 2 News: John Lassater reveals a great storyline from Brad Bird; Jack Jack to become the newest villain?

By

The superhero Parr family is set to return in the upcoming The Incredibles 2. The movie will once again stress the concept and importance of a family, however, one of their unexpected villains might come from inside their home.

It was confirmed during the D23 Expo that a sequel to 2004 animated feature The Incredibles is in the works with its poster included in the line up of upcoming films in Pixar. According to Screen Crush, the poster have made their rounds on the internet, and while it does not give much details, the poster look a lot like the first film with very minimal detail changes.

Pixar Animations head John Lassater confirmed during the Expo that Brad Bird is set to return to helm the upcoming film. As reported by Yibada, Lassater also said that Bird already came up with a great storyline, however, he did not reveal more details since it will be presented in next year's event.

Bird previously revealed that the film will focus on the importance and the concept of family. Movie News Guide also cited Bird saying that the film will be character driven, which is also the reason behind why the sequel is taking long to release.

However, he also reportedly hinted that a new villain might come from the super hero family itself. Speculations have now made their rounds on the internet that Jack Jack, the family's youngest member, might be the newest villain that the family will have to fight against.

Although it has not been confirmed yet, fan-based speculations suggest that The Incredibles 2 might be released sometime between November 2017 and June 2018 if ever it will be discussed in next year's D23 Expo.
