Ruby Rose fans around the world are excited as the model-actress-DJ confirmed that she is in the midst of talks of her joining the eighth movie of the highly popular franchise Fast and Furious.
The International Business Times reports that in an interview with Today Show Australia, the 29 year-old Australian celebrity mentioned that she is indeed in talks with the production house in charge for a role in the upcoming Fast and Furious 8 film. Unbeknownst to the general public, Rose reveals that her resemblance to Justin Bieber was the reason she was not part of the previous movie despite expressing her interest in it:
"It's so funny because now I'm in talks with that movie and I haven't mentioned to them that I know [they turned me down because I looked like Justin]."
Ruby Rose gained an international following in her portrayal in the Orange is The New Black. MoviePilot writes that "after demonstrating her acting ability in OITNB and establishing herself as a major personality in her own right, Rose's slight resemblance to Bieber clearly isn't a problem..." With a string of strong female characters in the movie, Rose is a step closer to landing a role in the franchise.
