Deus Ex: Mankind Divided News: February release date disclosed; Is pre-ordering a rip-off?

By

With Square Enix focusing on publishing multiple games such as Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, there could be a few if not all factors that may not be as satisfactory as the others that fans may commend. More importantly however, would be the release date and what comes before such. Here, Square Enix and Eidos Montreal discusses the probable future of Deus Ex: Mankind Divided.

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided is essentially anticipated by so many gamers, and is of course, expected to be more than successful at the most part. The fans are of course more than eager to know what new adventures are to befall their consoles. According to The Star, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided will most likely be launched next year around February, between the seventeenth to the twenty-third.

However, the February 17 launch date is still not as certain, dependent on the number of fans who are to purchase the pre-order. Well enough, the pre-order retains the promise of tangible goodies and in-game extra content for those who wish to avail of the said promo. Because of this, a slight stir has become viral around the web, as reported by Gaming Bolt.

As of the moment, the irony that the gaming society faces is whether to purchase the pre-order for a few advantages at a certain cost, or to simply await the game at a later period. This, for one, is not too difficult of a decision to some, but to those who look to make a head start for their own benefit and to get limited edition collectibles, the choice might be quite too vast.

As delivered by Softpedia, it somewhat becomes abusive for the developers to consistently put players in a situation wherein they have to weigh the options and moreover, the pros and cons of getting and not getting pre-orders. . Sadly enough, and this goes for all other games, the guaranteed awesome gaming experience is not concrete enough to be trusted upon, under the condition that the game may not be as promised.

Basically the community faces a choice between placing a pre-order in order to get the game a little sooner, with no guarantee about the quality of the experience (although Deus Ex: Mankind Divided looks solid at the moment) and accepting that this is an abuse of the pre-order system and as such should be countered by gaming fans.

Hype is typically the sources of a game's success, and Deus Ex: Mankind Divided may just be bringing quite a lot to the table, without any commitment to how the game will turn out. Stay tuned for further news and details.
